- Artificial flavours or fragrances: these ingredients are also known to cause irritation to sensitive skin. Some flavoured lubricants can also contribute to yeast infections as well
- Petroleum or mineral oil: these ingredients can form a heavy, non-breathable barrier that can trap bacteria and disrupt your skins pH balance. They are also not compatible with latex condoms and can be difficult to clean off since they are not water soluble
