1. What store do you work at & how long have you been with the company?
I’m coming up to my 5th year anniversary this summer!
2. What’s your personal favourite product and why?
My favourite product is lingerie! It’s something that can be so incredibly empowering on a day-to-day basis. There is nothing more boss than a matching bra and panty set under everyday wear!! Lingerie is something that is really versatile and can be worn as streetwear or in the bedroom, looks amazing on all body types and should be purchased with the wearer in mind; because when you feel sexy and confident everyone else will see you as sexy and confident too.
3. What is your favourite Stag Shop memory?
My favourite Stag memory is going to the the small community Pride events, I love getting out and speaking with our customers outside of our stores.
I met up with the Free Mom Hugs in 2019, that group of women coming together and lending a shoulder and a bear hug to anyone who is feeling lost and left out was amazing! I immediately joined the group and am so glad I’m able to give back in a meaningful way… a hug is a very powerful thing! (Anyone need a hug!?) 🌈
4. What is one thing that surprised you about working at Stag Shop?
The thing that surprised me the most is how normal everything is! Everyone has an idea that we will see something weird in our stores but honestly, we see people just like us on a day-to-day basis … maybe a bit braver than most because they’re taking the first steps to explore pleasure but that is amazing and more people should!
5. What is the most interesting OR popular question you get asked about working at a sex toy company? And what's your go-to answer?
I always get asked if there is a toy tester position available! My go-to answer is no we don’t have that role but we always love feedback from customers!
#8: Kevin
1. What store do you work at & how long have you been with the company?
I am coming up to 8 years in September and it honestly feels like yesterday that I started. It was the first time in a very long time that I worked somewhere I felt appreciated and valued.
2. What’s your personal favourite product and why?
I honestly don't have a personal favorite but I do love selling anything I know will help an old, existing, or new relationship thrive. Having people leave the store excited to bring back that spark or to adventure down a new path makes you leave for the day feeling like you helped others in the best possible way.
3. What is your favourite Stag Shop memory?
As crazy as it can be, and believe me it does get crazy, lol I love working Pride. We get to see so many people from all over the world visiting our city and our shop. We have so much fun interacting out front the stores and selling all the fun things that make the weekend that much more enjoyable for everyone.🌈
4. What is one thing that surprised you about working at Stag Shop?
I never really knew much about the products we carry and like many customers didn't think that some of the stuff could possibly be purchased. As time went on, I started to be educated and have a better understanding. I realized that just because something might not be for me doesn't necessarily mean it isn't for someone else. It really changes your perspective and also teaches you to never pass judgment.
5. What is the most interesting OR popular question you get asked about working at a sex toy company? And what's your go-to answer?
Q) How many dildos did you sell today?
A) Since you're so interested how about you come by and just buy one yourself MOM!! LOL (shoutout to Kevin’s badass mom!)
