We here at Stag Shop believe that sexuality should be fun, pleasurable, and safe for anyone and everyone! From our staff who are on the front lines in our stores, to those of us here at Head Office, we all share one goal: to educate our customers while providing a safe space to choose and purchase products that will enhance their sex lives!

Most of our products are not a one-type-fits-all style, which means knowing what you like and don’t like is an important part of the selection process whether it be in search for a lube, vibe, butt plug, etc.

Importance of Sex-Positive Education

Regardless of age, sexual health is an important part of a person’s entire life - and it’s a lot more than just the act of sex alone. Sexuality can encompass a person’s identity and is shaped by many things like religion, culture, media, family, history, etc.

The World Health Organization defines sexual health as…”a state of physical, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality. It requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence.”

Sexual health can also cover a variety of topics such as; birth control, anatomy, contraception, consent, healthy relationships, sex toys, and the list goes on and on!

By presenting accurate and relevant information about sexual health topics in a positive (and not shameful or taboo) sort of way, it allows a person to more confidently discover and express their own sexuality throughout life.
